Christos Tzolis joins Norwich City for PS10 million from Greek side PAOK.

Norwich City have signed winger Christos Tzolis for a price of roughly PS10 million from Greek club PAOK.
The 19-year-old has agreed to a five-year contract with the Canaries, which is subject to international approval. He will wear the number 19 shirt.
For the 2021/22 season, there will be an 18 shirt.
Tzolis’ original cost is PS8.8 million plus performance-related add-ons, for a total fee of just under PS10 million.
Tzolis had a breakout season last season, scoring 16 goals and providing 10 assists in 46 games across all competitions as PAOK finished second in the Greek Super League.
“I’d want to thank everyone for the kind greeting,” he remarked.
I’m thrilled to be a member of this group, and I look forward to seeing the fans as soon as possible.
“I chatted with the coach [Daniel Farke], and he explained the strategy and what he intends to do with me in the team.”
It’s a fantastic endeavor for me to be a part of.
“I’ve been looking forward to coming here since the first minute I saw it.”
I told my agent that we needed to sign as soon as possible.
It’s a huge step forward for me.
“That was my first professional season [last year].”
My statistics were good, and we won the cup in Greece.
“We are all thrilled with this deal,” said head coach Daniel Farke. “It was a really fantastic season for me and I hope to continue like this here in the Premier League.”
Christos drew a lot of attention from some of Europe’s major clubs.
“Christos is undoubtedly one of the most exciting offensive players in European football in his age group.”
“He’s a young winger with a lot of speed and upside.”
He’s in good physical shape and has a long history of scoring goals and assisting for PAOK, a major Greek team.
“Of course, we’ll give him time to improve and adapt to English football,” says the manager, “but we have a player with a lot of promise and a terrific personality.”
